Stock the board contractors ask for by name

Eco Foam is made a few hours north of here and stocked in Duluth. If you sell to concrete crews, builders or remodellers in the Upper Midwest, carrying it puts a higher grade board on your floor without a higher grade price.

Why carry it

Three reasons dealers pick it up, in the order they usually give them.

Contractors come back

The crews who try it stop buying 25 psi board. That is a repeat line on your counter rather than a one-off sale, and they tend to bring the rebar and the forms with them.

It answers the specifier

ASTM C578-19, ETL certified, full published test data and a spec sheet your customer can hand to an engineer. The most common question on the phone is compliance, and it has an answer.

Nothing else in the aisle does this

40 to 100 psi, 0.2 percent water absorption and 85 percent post-consumer recycled content in one board. It sells against big box 25 psi on performance, not on price.

Stocked here, not shipped from away

The board is manufactured by Eco Carbon Foam in Thunder Bay and held in Duluth. Buyers assume the stock sits in Canada and it does not, which is the single most common thing we have to correct on the phone.

  • Truckloads on the ground in Duluth
  • Delivered on our own trucks
  • Forms, foam and rebar on one order
  • We came off site crews ourselves

Short lead times are the part your customers will notice first.

Where we are looking

We supply across the Upper Midwest from Duluth, and there is open ground in most of it. The strongest fits are yards and supply houses already selling to slab on grade crews, foundation contractors and remodellers.

Territory, opening order and dealer pricing are worked out per account rather than pulled off a sheet, so the honest answer is that it depends on where you are and what you already move. Tell us the market and we will tell you straight whether it makes sense for both of us.

Dealer questions

What does the line cover?

Rigid XPS board in 40, 60 and 100 psi, in 1 inch, 1.5 inch, 2 inch and 3 inch, with a butt or shiplap edge. Alongside it, Eco Form insulated slab forms and fabricated rebar, which most customers order together.

Is this a franchise?

No. It is a stocking dealer arrangement. You carry the product and sell it under your own name, and there is no franchise fee, no royalty and no branding requirement.

Do you protect territory?

Territory is agreed account by account rather than by a fixed formula. Tell us the market you serve and we will be straight with you about who else is in it.

What is the opening order?

It depends on the market and what you already stock. Get in touch and we will put a number against your situation rather than quote one that suits neither of us.

How does freight work?

We deliver on our own trucks across the region. Distance and load size decide the terms, and we will quote them before you commit to anything.

What support comes with it?

Spec sheets, test data and the answers your counter staff will need when a contractor asks about ASTM, psi or water absorption. We came off site crews, so the questions are familiar.
